Charles Wentz, MA, LCMHCS Chaplin and Counselor
Charles Wentz, Jr. is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. He is also the Chaplain of Scotland Family Counseling Center. He counsels individuals, couples, children and adolescents treating for depression, anxiety, and most problems related to personal, marital, and family life. He is commissioned to the counseling center by the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina (PCUSA) as a ruling elder. He has 15 years of experience working with church youth on a local, state and national basis and 35 years of leadership experience in business and private entrepreneurship. He has been a resident of Laurinburg, NC since 1963, has been married for 50 years to Susan and has two married children and five grandchildren. Mr. Wentz holds the following degrees: Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2004, University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, 1970, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
